“When You’re in D-Town” has won the Grand Award in the Digital division at the Association for Chamber of Commerce Executives’ Awards for Communications Excellence!

Welcome Dr. Heidi Popham
Welcome, Dr. Heidi Popham as the President of GNTC!

Dr. Heidi Popham has worked for Georgia Northwestern Technical College for more than 23 years. Her career at the college began when she was hired as the Executive Assistant to the President. Since then, Popham gained significant leadership experience having held positions as Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, and in her latest role as Executive Vice President.

Popham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College, a Master of Education degree from the University of Georgia, and a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Georgia. Popham assumed her new on June 16th.
Georgia Small Business Survey
Georgians First Commission was established by Governor Brian Kemp with the goal of cutting red-tape and streamlining government for small business. To achieve this goal, the Commission needs to hear directly from you.

"Employers in the Know 2019" will provide information for managers, human resources professionals, business owners and supervisors seeking guidance and tips for handling management, compliance and operational challenges.

This annual event will provide an opportunity to meet and hear from Commissioner of Labor, Mark Butler, receive valuable information from legal experts, learn more about sexual harassment from a management view, listen to updates on unemployment insurance, and find out about GeorgiaBEST@Work.
