We welcome encourage you to take part in a few outdoor events as the summer season is in full bloom. Take a look at the events below and head on out to enjoy.
If your company is interested in earning a rebate on its worker's compensation premium please read below and take advantage of joining a local safety council sponsored by the Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce. Monthly breakfast meetings are held with speakers addressing a full range of safety related topics to help organizations.
Mark your calendar and RSVP for the August Chamber lunch as we look to explore the topic of Emotional Intelligence. Feel free to share this topic (and of course any other chamber lunch topics) with company employees, friends, colleagues who would benefit from attending, learning and growing professionally.

July 2nd - Bark in the Park
|
Bring your pup for Bark In the Park at the Lake Erie Crushers game on Tuesday, July 2nd.
The Crushers vs. Thunderbolts game will be at 7:05 pm at the Crushers stadium in Avon, OH.
2024 Bark in the Park Dates: July 2nd, July 12th, August 6th, August 20th and August 27th.

July 27th - Jammin' in the Park
|
Enjoy two back to back tribute bands at the City of Middleburg Heights' Jammin' in the Park event coming up on Saturday, July 27th at 15700 Bagley Road at City Hall Park. Shadow of a Doubt (Tom Petty) tribute band and FAM Project (Steely Dan) tribute band will both be onsite and rockin' and rollin' for the evening.
Bring your lawn chair, enjoy a summer evening, live music, food trucks and various beverages that will be available. You don't have to go far to enjoy outdoor live entertainment.

July 31st deadline - Cleveland Southwest Safety Council

Are you interested in earning a rebate on your 2024-2025 worker's compensation premium? Are you interested in increasing your awareness of various safety topics that impact your organization?
Join the Cleveland Southwest Safety Council as a member by July 31st, attend 10 monthly breakfast meetings per year and earn a 3% rebate on your annual worker's compensation premium.
Topics span the whole realm of safety (electrical, fire, computer, psychological, emergency, management, chemical, transportation and more).

Join us for the August chamber lunch as we dive into the topic with Kathy Saxton, Associate Professor at Bryant & Stratton College.
You will enjoy fabulous catering, a conducive location, free parking, subject matter experts/speakers and opportunity to connect and strengthen business relationships with local professionals in the area.
