2020 Watermelon Festival
The Knox County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2020 Watermelon Festival will be held on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th at Patrick Henry Square, downtown Vincennes.

Vendor Forms
To participate as a vendor in the Watermelon Festival, you will need to complete the form below. Please mail or deliver the forms and payment to the Knox County Chamber of Commerce office by July 24, 2020.
Sponsorship Forms
There are still spots available to sponsor this annual event that draws festival goers from Knox County and the surrounding areas! This is the perfect opportunity to get your business name in front of a large crowd, and to help the Knox County Chamber of Commerce continue our mission!
3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Form
We are bringing the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament back to the Watermelon Festival this year on Saturday, August 8 at 9 AM! There will be two age divisions: ages 11-14 and 15+. If your child or someone you know is interested in participating, please download the form below and return it, along with the registration fee, back to the Chamber office by Wednesday, August 5.

Up to 4 players per team | $10 per player (includes a t-shirt)

The American Red Cross has a high priority need for volunteers in Knox County! Help us ensure Knox residents have the help they need in the face of disaster.
Disaster Action Team Service Associate Volunteer
To serve on a Disaster Action Team as a worker on a DAT response to provide 24-hour immediate support and assistance to individuals and families who have been impacted by a home fire or other local disaster.
1. Works as part of an assigned team to respond to local disasters within two hours.
2. Delivers immediate direct client assistance in accordance with Red Cross standards and procedures.
3. Works with on-scene lead to assess whether additional resources/support are required and communicates those needs to DAT Leadership.
4. Attends regularly scheduled team/DAT meetings as required by Chapter/Region.
5. Commits to being available during assigned shifts and communicate scheduling conflicts with DAT Leadership.

Captain Karla Salsbury - The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army wants to introduce the new Corps Officer that will take over leadership on July 1st. Captain Karla Salsbury is originally from Burlington, Iowa and recently she was stationed in International Falls, Minnesota. She is a 5th generation Salvationist with her parents being retired SA Officers. She has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She spent 30 years as a SA employee at headquarters in the youth department. She is looking forward to meeting the folks of Knox County. Make sure to give her a great welcome into Indiana’s FIRST City!
