So much information to put in one newsletter!  The upcoming Social Media by Design Summit in Vail has a great lineup of presenters as well as hands on training.  Our July chapter meeting is being held July 28th with the topic of Universal Design.  The Peak Award winners are included and much, much more.  If you are a member and want an event or opportunity published in the newsletter, an email blast or put on facebook, we now have a form on the website for you to use to enter all the details.

This year, two of the four judges are NKBA members: Jeni Russell of Home Solutions and Barbara Barton, CMKBD!  There are three kitchen categories, and three bathroom categories, as well as other possibilities for specialty rooms and details to consider.

Entrants need NOT be members of HBA to enter; it is open to all in the industry.  Doug Walter has been a member of the CARE committee for 18 years, and would be happy to coach you on how best to present your binder for this year's CARE.  So, if you prepared a binder for this year's Peak Awards, or previous ones (CARE allows projects to be up to 5 years old), you're 90% done!

IRG Seeks Cabinet Design Professionals

An interior finish company supplying cabinets and installation is seeking cabinet design professionals to complete designs for local and national builders. Designer will work in a fun fast paced environment producing cabinet drawings and orders per selections made in builders design centers. Other duties include composing custom designs, quoting options upon design center requests, and assisting sales on bids for new business.
