The West Caldwell Public Library re-opened with Concierge Service on Monday, June 15.

This service is ONLY for patrons with West Caldwell Library cards: West Caldwell residents or taxpayers, paid-card members and those patrons who have a courtesy card (people who work in town).

Patrons are limited to 5 new items and a total of 10 items per pick up.

Little Listeners Zoom Story Time
Tuesdays at 10:00 am, June 30 - July 28
Children ages 0-3 are will enjoy songs, rhymes, stories and activity ideas via Zoom every Tuesday at 10 am from June 30 - July 28. Registration is required. To sign-up for this Zoom program, please email Amy Moran at [email protected]. prior to each weekly session and she will share the Zoom login with you.
Virtual "Peaceful Poetry Reading Series"

Relax with virtual Poetry Readings from accomplished Essex County poets on Thursdays at 6:00 pm. Poets will share 15-minute weekly readings of their favorite poems that are intended to offer tranquility and peace of mind. The ninth poetry reading, on July 2, will feature prolific and award-winning poet, editor and publisher Diane Lockward (pictured) of West Caldwell, who will read poems from her recent poetry collection The Uneaten Carrots of Atonement . Diane helped organize the Poetry Reading Series by recruiting Essex County poets. The poetry readings can be seen on our Facebook page or on YouTube.
Night Time Read Book Club Discussion features A Piece of the World

Enjoy a lively book discussion of this powerful and stunning novel of friendship, passion and art, inspired by Andrew Wyeth's mysterious and iconic painting Christina's World. Fact and fiction are vividly interwoven to retell the story of the woman behind the portrait, her complicated relationship with her family, and how artist and muse come together to forge a timeless legacy. Senior Library Assistant Barbara Paterson will lead this moving discussion via Zoom.

Running successfully for over 18 years, the program is being conducted online using Zoom Video Conferencing, an easy to use program allowing multiple participants to share live audio & video.
