BOOK OF THE MONTH

Anything can happen at a masquerade...

To coincide with the upcoming event, Death at the Masquerade, we have selected Laini Taylor's book Daughter of Smoke & Bone.

Karou, a seventeen-year-old art student from Prague, fills her sketchbook with demons that her peers do not understand. She knows little of herself, except that she has naturally blue hair, she glides between the human and the mythological world, the chimaerae form her only family, and she is now caught up in the war between angels and demons.

Let's hope this book does not disappoint.

If you like this book, continue the series with Days of Blood & Starlight and Dreams of Gods & Monsters.

Hello there my dearest lemony friends,

The first month of the Summer Reading Challenge: Imagine Your Story! has come to an end. The time has flown by and before you know it, school will be back in session.

During this past month we have read, watched movies, painted dragon eyes, drowned ourselves in chocolate, and made unicorn pillows.

You still have one more month to participate in the challenge and attend the events. You can step back in time and join us for a 90's party, tie-dye a t-shirt, or get caught up in a murder. The sky is the limit.
