AUGUST LITKIT
THE GREAT TEEN READ

This month, we will be reading Booked for the Summer's July read, Wanderlost by Jen Malone.

Aubree is ready to spend her summer in Ohio perfectly content with just relaxing. However, her carefully laid plans abruptly end when her sister gets into some major trouble.

Aubree is pushed into taking over her sister's summer job leading a group senior citizens through Europe. As it turns out, things could not get any worse. Before they reach their first destination - her phone is gone, her information binder is gone, and the tour company's son has decided to join them.

Posing as her sister, Aubree can not let her down because her career depends on it. Additionally, she can not fall in love with the unexpected guest who thinks she is her sister.

If you can't join us on Monday, July 25 at 6:00 pm at Defiance Public Library, then post your thoughts and opinions on our Padlet page called Dear YA Readers.

SQUEEZY McSQUEEZY

Hello there my dearest friends,

Last night was amazing! The library hosted the DIY Axolotl Plushie event where teens got to create their own plushie using a sock, some thread or glue, and a little bit of creativity.

We had so much fun laughing, stuffing, and eating donuts (Thank you Ella.) that the aftermath of the room was totally worth it.

Enjoy the snapshots of some of the axolotls.

Stay cool,

Squeezy
