High school students in Yachad’s Ramp It Up! program built a wheelchair access ramp and deck for The Bernard Creeger Bikur Cholim House. The home, run by Bikur Cholim of Greater Washington, provides temporary lodging for patients and their families seeking lifesaving treatment at the National Institutes of Health and other local hospitals.

Check out our slide show of the teens in action.

Thank you to project supervisor Roy Thillberg of Loudon Contracting, counselor, Ami Weintraub and architect Audrey Rutkove of Rutkove Building Consultants.
