Encompass Family Services Manager Sam Sinanan draws on her experience as an art teacher, Lead Preschool Teacher Sarah Holmes shares how she gets her students going, and Occupational Therapist Ashley Fletcher lends both a professional and parent perspective.

Outside in the Encompass Sensory Garden!
|
|
We typically refer to our Imagine Serenity Garden as the sensory garden because it's the perfect place for kids to get outside, explore, and consider what they see, hear, taste, smell, and touch!
See - Beautiful contrasting colors all around . . . what’s your favorite?
Hear - Our sensory path is filled with different materials . . . what do they sound like when you walk on them? What do they feel like when you touch them?
Taste - Our tasting garden is filled with different taste sensations of berries and herbs. Are they sweet? Spicy? Juicy?
Smell - Flowers, plants, herbs . . . what do they smell like?
Touch - Sand, water, dirt, rocks, shells, and more . . . what do these feel like?
