Summer Camp Kicks Off with Sand, Sun, and Fun
Encompass summer camps kicked off this week with Buried Treasure and Simply Sand for ages 3-4 and Wow Weaving and Junior Veterinarians for ages 5-7. The kids are having a blast doing projects, getting in character, playing outside, and enjoying sensory experiences.
We still have room in our camps for ages 2 and 3-4, so it's not too late to get in on the fun!

Parent-Child Home Program Celebrates Graduates
On June 7th, Encompass Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP) celebrated the graduation of 19 families from its two-year program. This was the 6th graduating class from Encompass PCHP.
PCHP families live throughout the region in Carnation, Duvall, Snoqualmie, Fall City, North Bend, and Issaquah. Home visitors from Encompass visited them in their homes twice a week for two years, providing educational toys and books and showing the families how to use them in ways that prepare their kids for kindergarten.
The ceremony was held at Sallal Grange in North Bend, where each child got called out by name and received gifts. After the formal ceremony, families enjoyed refreshments and a math party provided by Zeno.

Thank You for Helping Families Like Anna's
At Encompass, one of the ways we partner with families to build healthy foundations for children is through Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, or PCIT.
Through PCIT, parents of children with challenging behaviors work with a mental health coach to learn play therapy and behavioral management skills, reducing stress and tension in the home.
One of our PCIT families is Anna and Brayden, pictured here. Brayden and his parents traveled over 40 minutes each way to get to Encompass for PCIT. "I can't stress enough how important it was for us to get here every week," Anna explains. "We wouldn't have missed it."
PCIT gave Anna's family the skills they needed to heal and reconnect. "To see my son turn around and smile at me instead of turn around and hit me," she says, "just makes me want to cry."
This spring, we asked you to support life-changing programs like PCIT. We thank you for your generous gifts, which will help enable us to provide PCIT to over 100 families this year.
If you did not give during our Spring Campaign, it's not too late. Click here to make a donation today to help families like Anna's receive the support they need to thrive.
