XLR8

On June 2nd, Chamber members and professionals from across our community joined us for Session 2 of our Conflict Management & Resolution Strategies series: The Conflict Resolution Process in Action.

During this interactive session, participants gained a deeper understanding of the conflict resolution process and how to apply it effectively in real-world situations. We explored the appropriate timing for utilizing the process, the purpose and value of each step, and practical tools that can help navigate conflict with confidence and professionalism.

A special thank you to everyone who attended and invested in their professional growth. We love seeing our members take advantage of opportunities to strengthen their leadership and communication skills.

Kentucky Chamber's Womens Summit

A special thank you to our board member, LeeAnn Abell from Town & Country Bank and Trust Co., and Kim Rogers from Bardstown Industrial Development Corporation for joining us!

Teach to Lead

Teach to Lead Completes a Successful First Year

The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated the completion of Teach to Lead program this month. Throughout four engaging sessions, educators from across Nelson County explored the industries, organizations, and community resources that make our region a great place to live, work, and learn.

Participants visited local farms, businesses, healthcare providers, public safety agencies, government facilities, tourism attractions, and community organizations, gaining firsthand insight into agriculture, workforce development, healthcare, history, tourism, public safety, mental health, and economic development. Along the way, they built valuable connections with local leaders and discovered resources they can bring back to their classrooms to better serve their students.

A heartfelt thank you goes to every host, presenter, and sponsor who invested their time, expertise, and support to make the inaugural Teach to Lead program a success. We look forward to continuing this impactful program and empowering future educators with meaningful connections to our community.
