Teach to Lead Completes a Successful First Year
The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated the completion of Teach to Lead program this month. Throughout four engaging sessions, educators from across Nelson County explored the industries, organizations, and community resources that make our region a great place to live, work, and learn.
Participants visited local farms, businesses, healthcare providers, public safety agencies, government facilities, tourism attractions, and community organizations, gaining firsthand insight into agriculture, workforce development, healthcare, history, tourism, public safety, mental health, and economic development. Along the way, they built valuable connections with local leaders and discovered resources they can bring back to their classrooms to better serve their students.
A heartfelt thank you goes to every host, presenter, and sponsor who invested their time, expertise, and support to make the inaugural Teach to Lead program a success. We look forward to continuing this impactful program and empowering future educators with meaningful connections to our community.
