"Community, family, happiness and laughter are what the Walk with Autism are to me. This truly is a family event where everyone can be themselves without being judged and parents can take a deep breathe knowing that their child is in a safe environment. The Denver Walk has grown to well over 2,000 participants and is such a fun event to be at. We had our inaugural Walk in Colorado springs and it was amazing, 500 participants attended and they were so grateful that we were there to help their community as well. Our Opening Doors (TM) Program joins forces with local and national busines ses and community partners to provide individuals affected by autism and their families with an inclusive experience for their employees, employees who are caregivers, consumers on the spectrum and families who frequently can't or won't go out. This program provides a holistic approach to inclusion through training, consultations and promoting your organization as an Autism Friendly Business! New recent Opening Doors(TM) Partners include: Lone Tree Arts Center, Schlessman YMCA and coming soon, Arvada Center!
