Hello E8 Community,

The application window for funding from E8's Decarbon8-US Philanthropic Fund officially closed with a record 85+ applications from companies working in Renewable Energy! As our screening committee and expert judges start the process of identifying the finalists, we are excited to announce that we are now accepting donations and grants for this year's fund. You can find out more about contributing on our website!

We also welcome three new companies to E8's growing portfolio, MITO Materials, Photon Marine, and Sparkz! We are excited to be a part of their journey and to support and follow their progress.

Finally, check out all the events happening in July! E8 is participating in PNW Climate Week, Seattle Tech Week, and running what is sure to be an informative E8 Learning Lab on Investment Structures with our partner K&L Gates. Register for the Learning Lab here!

We look forward to an exciting month of July, continuing to elevate our impact and engaging with founders, investors, partners, and supporters in the ecosystem!

Decarbon8-US is Now Accepting Donations & Grants!

Decarbon8-US is a philanthropic fund that accepts donations and grants and invests in innovative early stage companies tackling the world's climate challenges. It enables anyone, at any amount, to make a donation to invest in technologies that accelerate our transition to a cleaner world.

Each year, the fund focuses on a different decarbonization theme. This year it is renewable energy. Tripling renewable power capacity by 2030 would deliver about a third of the emissions reductions needed this decade to move the world to a pathway aligned with 1.5°C (IEA’s World Energy Outlook 2023).

All donations to Decarbon8-US are tax-deductible and are made to our 501(c)(3) partner Realize Impact, who administers the Fund.
