July Demo Night

Free for OAG members; $5.00 for non-members
Join us for refreshments, socializing, and a demo by artist Glen Thomas. There will also be time at the end to share, so bring something you've been working on or information about your upcoming event.
Glen Thomas began drawing when he was
four years old and shows no sign of tiring of this activity.
He is a prolific a
rtist working in
both two- and three dimensional media. Glen's work focuses on form, namely, the figure, landscapes, and southwestern culture.
Glen is local to Oklahoma City; however, his award-win
ning works can be found in galleries and in private and public collections across the U.S., from Maine to Florida to
Colorado. His is also a celebrated teacher and has enjoyed seeing promising artists who he has personally m
entored venture toward highly successful fine art careers. For more info, see

Art Crawl Opportunity
Oklahoma Art Guild is planning to sponsor an "Art Crawl" involving tours of studios around the Oklahoma City metropolitan area this October. Ideally we would have 10-12 studios involved where artists could have items for sale, do demos, show works in progress, or any other art activity. Urban Sketchers News
Urban Sketchers OKC will meet at 8:00am on Saturday July 21st for breakfast at Around the Corner Restaurant, 11 S Broadway, Edmond, OK and then will head around the corner to the Edmond Farmers Market at around 9:15-9:30 to sketch until around noon.
