Help make a difference in the lives of those impacted by congenital heart defects this summer by hosting a fundraiser, registering for an event, such as an upcoming Congenital Heart Walk, or signing up to be a Children's Heart Foundation volunteer! Check out the opportunities below for ways YOU can help raise funds for CHD research.

Become a Children's Heart Foundation Volunteer!

So many people work diligently year-round to support The Children's Heart Foundation's mission. Do you want to help make a difference by volunteering? We have open positions on our volunteer-led Region Councils, and are also looking for general volunteers across the county!

We would LOVE to have you join our team as we work to raise funds and awareness for CHD research! Please email us at [email protected] if you're interested in learning more.

RUN for CHD Research in our Virtual 5K and Fun Run!

Join us for the Nationwide Virtual 5k and Fun Run benefiting The Children's Heart Foundation as we #RunForCHDResearch on between July 15th - August 12th! This 5K is virtual, so you can run anywhere, anytime! Register today!

Your medal and shirt will be shipped to your address. You will also be able to download a custom race bib! Our run will use the RaceJoy app, which is an interactive race day experience, so we can cheer you on during your route! Once you complete your 5k or Fun Run and enter your results, you will be prompted to download your custom finisher’s certificate.

Can we ask you to help us get to our $25,000 goal?! Become a Fundraiser and share your personalized link with your family, friends, and colleagues. Thank you and run with all your heart!

Join us at a Congenital Heart Walk!

Register to join us as we #WalkForCHDResearch across the country! These fundraising events include engaging and fun activities, mission updates, Heart Angel remembrance, our family-friendly walk, and more! Find a walk near you and register to become a fundraising walker or start a team.

If you don't see a walk in your area, register for our Nationwide Virtual Congenital Heart Walk! This event brings together families in every state where we don’t currently have a Walk (and anyone else who wants to join!) to raise funds for our mission!
