Prayer Partners

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus!

We are just 10 days away from boarding a plane to head out to Kafulafuta Baptist Mission in Zambia, Africa. July 19th- August 2nd.

The team has been preparing for months now in prayer and the Word! We are excited for what the Lord will do!

We will all arrive in Decatur, Alabama the week of the 19th to then drive to Atlanta Friday morning around 9:30am.

Please pray for safety and smooth flight transitions through customs, that all luggage will arrive on time, and that doors of utterance will be opened to us as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ!

The team going to Zambia will be myself, Becky, my daughters Angela Morgan, and Krissy Berry, grandson Justin Morgan, my niece, Jennifer Wehman.

My daughter Angela and the I am His ladies ministry team will also be traveling with us. Dawn Mason, Jane Cross, Shawn Hager and Mallory McAtee. from Decatur, Alabama.

I will be preaching and teaching a pastors refreshers course for our national pastors.

The ladies will have a 5-day conference, and are expecting over 1,000 women in attendance.

Each day will consist of 3 sessions starting at 8am and going until 9pm at night.

The theme of the ladies conference is "WANTED" Believing for many souls to be saved.

Many in attendance will have walked miles, and sleep on the ground for many days before conference and during.

Please be in prayer for their safety as they travel to the mission.

Jane Cross will be conducting a VBS for the kids at the mission, while some of the ladies will not all be teaching during the ladies conference, they will help Jane on the day and times they are not teaching. We expect several children to show up to this as well!

Rebekah's Gift

Becky has been painting and raising money to purchase an ambulance for the rural health clinic there at Kafulafuta.

She recently had her very first art show here in Missouri.

The goal was to raise $15,000 to purchase an ambulance for the community in Africa!

Becky Bonner shared that in her time as a missionary in Africa, she noticed most people didn't have cars or even a bicycle to get around in.

So when somebody was sick, the hospital would have to send a vehicle, which was usually a pickup truck with mattress in the bed to transport the patient.

"That's one of the burdens on my husbands heart and on my heart," Bonner said. "Is to help them out with a vehicle that they can have better transport for these dear people that need to get help."

So far Rebekah's art has raised $11,000 to this cause!

Pastors Refreshers Course

The ladies will be conducting a Vacation Bible School as well. This will be during the ladies conference and pastors training!
