Hello again,
If you've been following along with our work over these last few months, you may have noticed that we're focused more and more on helping people understand themselves better.
I believe that when people understand themselves—and each other—better, EVERYTHING changes. Work becomes more fulfilling, teams become stronger, and leaders create environments where people are eager to contribute!
The more you know about yourself, the more you understand that it's okay to be exactly who you are.
Are you able to articulate exactly what it is that motivates you? How about what truly motivates the people on your team?
There are two areas where we shouldn't be playing a guessing game: with understanding your energy drivers and with making hiring decisions.
For my hiring managers and business leaders, I shared three critical resources with you last month:
- This is one of the most common mistakes we see with feedback (and the two ways to fix it!).
- Consider what it means to hire for promise rather than just looking for proficiency.
- The only four questions you'll ever need to hire and lead with wisdom.
With appreciation for you,
