Our annual 5K took place on June 11, 2022. Nearly 400 runners registered! This was an amazing event that brought together one big recovery family for a day of connection and celebration.

Many thanks to the volunteers, board members, FTR staff and our sponsors for making this possible.

WE RAISED $16,000!!!!

The people, food, live music, Subaru art car, art project, and opportunity drawing kept us all plenty entertained.

We are so grateful for the support!

COMMUNITY SERVICE PILLAR

FTR at Utah Pride:

We had the opportunity to participate in Utah Pride in person this year!

Thanks to all those who helped staff the booth, walked in the parade, and designed the float and banner. We had many opportunities to connect!

Our float won first place and we had a total of 28 volunteer hours.

This was a safe place for all and such a great experience!

Our thanks to the Creative Arts Pillar for their help.

Service Opportunities at the gym:

Fit to Recover is an amazing place to be of service, fulfill service-hour requirements, or just to come connect and be of use in your community.

So far in 2022 we have had 77 hours of service donated at the gym!

Thank you to all community members and staff for making this happen!

July Service Opportunity:

Join us at FTR SLC on July 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM!

We will be collecting water, snacks, sunscreen, lip balm,

hats, and gently used summer clothes.

If you have any questions, please text Maara at 385-267-2050

Thank you Salt Lake County ZAP!

This month, we would like to thank Salt Lake County ZAP for their support! The generous grant we received from them funded new music equipment, as well as musicians, food and supplies for our Community Night on June 10, 2022.
