Adult Yoga

The History of Diners in New Jersey

Diners are the ultimate gathering places, attracting a diverse mix of truck drivers, corporate executives, politicians, college students, police officers, tourists and midnight ramblers. They store fond memories of generations of patrons. “A diner is more than just a place to eat, and food is only half the meal.”


Author Michael C. Gabriele offers this delicious history, gathered from interviews with diner builders, owners, patrons and workers.

Chair Yoga for Adults

Join us with Mid-Bergen Regional Health Commission as they lead a monthly series of chair yoga classes.


Chair Yoga provides a gentle yet effective form of exercise tailored for individuals who may have limited mobility or prefer to practice yoga while seated. This class focuses on improving flexibility, strength, and relaxation through a series of seated yoga poses and breathing exercises.

Forest Friends Puppet Show Wednesdays - July 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd

4:00 PM to 4:45 PM

Kids can join us for this fun, engaging and educational 6 session puppet show with forest friends 


This program uses puppets to tell stories that help children learn various social emotional life skills. The program runs for 6 sessions. In each session, children are told a story using the Forest Friends puppets covering the following topics: feelings and communication, honesty and trust, respect, self-image/self-esteem, decision making and diversity. After the story, a discussion and related activity follows.

Family Movie Night

This month family movie night is "The Wild Robot"


Join us to watch this best animated movie of the year award winner.


Synopsis: The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot — ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.
