The Ontario Region Glock Challenge. (GSSF).

Dates: August 13/14, 2022.

Location: The Fabulous Ontario Rod and Gun Club, 2523 Trimble Rd, Ontario NY.

To register in advance for the Ontario Region Glock Challenge on August 13/14, 2022, you need to visit this page: https://gssf.pro. You then click on “Outdoor Matches” Then “Register”. You’ll create a user ID and password. After that, you can go register by scrolling down to the “Ontario Region Glock Challenge I” listing and select any or all the divisions that apply to you. If you are not a member of the GSSF, you will be prompted to join as well. 

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE TO ATTEND. The even is geared for newer shooters AND experienced ones. Come out and try. You may even win some awesome prizes!!!!

You may or may not be aware but as of June 6 our wonderful state just passed and signed into law a series of new gun laws aimed at making themselves feel good but, in the end, will do nothing to prevent criminals from being criminals.

SCOTUS recently ruled that NY's 'show cause' need for those wanting a CCW permit/license was unconstitutional. Although that did not effect most of us in Upstate NY as nearly every permit/license is CCW, it DID open up a lot downstate. It also affected other states as well. This ruling, among the others that SCOTUS sent out, may have effectively ended a lot of gun control laws.

On July 1, governess Hochul decided that despite what the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruled, SHE knew better and did not care. She rammed through the anti gunners dream bill and is trying to make it absolutely impossible to own or CCW in NY State.

There are a lot of details, much more to put in here, but if you want, reply back and request my letterhead format and the raw copy of the law so that you can read over it for yourself. There are a lot of unanswered questions and details but I'm working through them.

I am in the process of meeting with legal counsel, a state assemblyperson, and a Senator to obtain as much information as possible to better inform you. I expect I will have something ready by early to mid next week. I'll do a video presentation, possibly coupled with a slide presentation with all the information I can obtain.

If you want ammo, get it now. One of the provisions in the new laws was an onerous background check for ANY ammo purchase. THTA will drive the cost of ammo up more.

2.      Prices are cash only. Exact change. Checks, credit cards, or other forms will require a 4% surcharge.

3.      Pickup must be done at the RPD, LLC Training Center. No deliveries. No shipping.

4.      Ammo is first come first serve. If you want me to hold it for you, see the next line.

5.      Unless paid for upfront, ammo will be held for 5 days from request. After that, it goes to the next person.

6.      I’ll only contact you to arrange pickup twice. After that, I move on to the next buyer.

Everyone. Please bear in mind that RPD, LLC is not an ammunition store. It is a training company. From time to time, I will obtain ammunition so that I can supply students with the ability to train. If I plan accordingly, I will maintain a stock of ammo for students to attend courses. I try to keep the pricing as low as I can while still making enough to cover the time invested in researching, ordering, receiving, contacting purchasers, and coordinating the delivery of ammunition. I am doing this so that you have ammunition to take courses with my company. If you buy ammo from me, you should also think about attending courses as well so that we continue the cycle of support.

I am not able to field a great deal of special ammo requests. What I list is what I have. If you don’t see it, feel free to ask but I make no guarantees as to the chances of obtaining what you’re looking for.
