Bastille Day Piano Salon at the Meehans
|
|
Sunday, July 14
4:00 - 6:00 PM
1740 Corcoran Street NW
Bastille Day! How about s
ome Debussy, Saint-Seans, Chopin, Claude Bolling, French Quarter, Moulin Rouge to celebrate? And any other genre of good-listening-to-music as well! French horn? Hummm, but all instruments welcome, too. Any poets writing in French?
As is our practice, if
you come hungry and thirsty, bring something that will satisfy your needs as well as that of a few others. Or just leave a little something to apply toward tuning. For those who heard a flat upper register in Bev’s piano last time, you’ll be relieved to know that our player Rick Normoyle will re-tune the piano next week. Let’s party!
Will you be able to join us? Please, send an
email
and let us know by Thursday July 11.
