Kick Into Summer With Miracle League & Cardinal Newman Soccer! | |
This summer, Miracle League North Bay is teaming up with Cardinal Newman varsity soccer players Bella Pearson, Ruby Hewko, and Lily Haggin for a special collaborative soccer event created as part of their Senior Passion Project.
Join us on July 26th from 1-3pm for an afternoon packed with soccer, smiles, friendship, and fun at the indoor fields at Epicenter in Santa Rosa!
Athletes:
Athletes will have the opportunity to learn and practice soccer skills through a variety of fun drills and activities before wrapping up the day with a friendly scrimmage. No soccer experience is necessary. All skill levels are welcome!
While the event focuses on soccer fundamentals and movement, it’s also about building confidence, making friends, and creating a space where everyone feels included, supported, and celebrated.
Friends, family members, and supporters are encouraged to come cheer from the stands. Every high-five, cheer, and word of encouragement helps make the day even more special for our athletes.

As always, you're the heartbeat of our events and our this one is no different!
No soccer experience is needed to volunteer. We simply ask buddies to come ready to be energetic, engaged, patient, and enthusiastic throughout the afternoon.

It's time to sign up for another Miracle League season! Registration for our Fall 2026 Baseball Season is officially open, and we're excited to welcome everyone back to the field.

Volunteers, it's your turn to sign up! You already know the magic of Miracle League and the difference a buddy can make in an athlete's game day. We'd love to have you back this fall. Every game depends on our volunteers!
We're also looking for Game Day Sponsors for the season. Businesses, organizations, clubs, and teams can sponsor a game day by bringing 10 or more volunteers to serve as buddies. It's a meaningful way to give back while spending time together as a group. We hope to have 2–3 Game Day Sponsors at each game this fall, so if your organization is interested, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're registering as an athlete, signing up to volunteer, or bringing a group to support a game day, you're helping make baseball accessible, inclusive, and fun for everyone.

Miracle League loves the Sonoma Stompers!
This month, our Miracle League community traded our home field for the Arnold ballpark in Sonoma as we spent a beautiful summer evening cheering on the Sonoma Stompers.
From the moment we arrived in our own Champagne Club section, it was clear this was going to be a special night. Athletes, families, and friends enjoyed spending time together, cheering on the Stompers, and making memories throughout the evening.
One of the highlights of the night was meeting Rawhide, the Stompers' beloved mascot. There were plenty of high fives, hugs, and photos as Rawhide made his way through our section, bringing smiles to everyone he met. Of course, our very own mascot, Homer, joined in on the fun too!
The biggest honor of the evening belonged to our very own Mikey Lopez, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game and then spent the entire evening serving as the team's bat boy. Mikey showed up with endless enthusiasm, a huge smile, and a genuine love for the game that was impossible to miss. Watching him be part of the action all night long was a moment our entire Miracle League family was proud to celebrate.
The fun didn't stop there! Between innings, our athletes raced around the bases to see if they could outrun Rawhide, joined by Stompers players, Homer, and their Miracle League friends. A heartfelt thank you to the Sonoma Stompers for welcoming our community and creating such an incredible evening at the ballpark. Our athletes and families are proud Stompers fans, and we can't wait to come back again.
If you haven't been to a Stompers game yet, we highly recommend adding one to your summer plans. It's a wonderful way to spend an evening with family and friends while supporting baseball right here in Sonoma!

Who Grills the Hot Dogs? Rotary Club of Petaluma!

We are lucky to have partners who truly show up for our community, and the Rotary Club of Petaluma is a perfect example. The Rotary Club of Petaluma is part of Rotary International, a worldwide network of local clubs made up of business and community leaders who are committed to service. Their mission centers around giving back, supporting local needs, and using their time and resources to strengthen the communities they’re part of. Locally, the Petaluma Rotary has been serving the community since 1923, bringing people together through service projects, fundraising, and hands-on support.
For Miracle League North Bay, Rotary is not just a sponsor, they are an active and visible part of our game day experience. Their generosity made it possible for us to build our beautiful pavilion, which has become a central gathering space for families, volunteers, and athletes.
Each game day, Rotary members are out at the field staffing the pavilion and grilling hot dogs they’ve generously funded themselves. It’s more than just a meal. It brings the feeling of a true day at the ballpark to life, with the sights, smells, and shared moments that make the experience feel complete for everyone involved.
What makes this partnership so meaningful is how consistently Rotary shows up. Whether it’s funding important elements of our program or stepping in with helping hands, they do it all with a genuine spirit of service that aligns closely with our mission.
“As a Rotary volunteer we get to experience the teamwork of grilling and serving 200 hot dogs on Miracle League game days,” said Susan Cross. “It’s so gratifying for us to see the absolute delight of players, parents, high school buddies and fans as they to stop by our pavilion for free hot dogs and chips.”
We are proud to have the Petaluma Rotary as part of our Miracle League community and grateful for the role they play in making every game day feel so special.
