Beware of Bears

Bear activity in our community is starting to pick up. Bears find it easier to get calories from trash cans than foraging in the wild, so please be careful with your garbage.

For a bear-free neighborhood, remember these tips:
  • Do not leave trash or trash cans outside overnight
  • Properly store pet food and bird seed
  • Burn food off of barbecue grills and clean after use
  • Keep all bear-accessible windows and doors closed and locked, including home, garage and vehicle doors
  • Don't leave food, trash, coolers, air fresheners or anything that smells in your vehicle
  • Pick fruit before it ripens, and clean up fallen fruit

Concerned about Airplane Noise Overhead?

Centennial Airport offers an online tracking system for the movement of flights and air traffic patterns within the Denver and Denver Tech Center areas. The WebTrak Flight Tracking and Noise Information System allows concerned individuals to research data about flights to and from Centennial Airport, Denver International Airport, other front range airports, as well as any transitional air traffic through the region.

Castle Pines residents may use WebTrak to investigate a noise or flight that occurred near their location. The system also simplifies the process of filing a noise complaint, offering an easy, online option for residents who want to register concerns regarding noise levels.
