ESI Announces Leadership Transition
Stephen P. Mullin and Richard Voith , Founding Principals of ESI, are proud to announce a leadership transition that will seamlessly position ESI for continued growth in serving our clients with high-quality professional analyses and direction. Dr. Voith and Mr. Mullin will remain Principals, and will now be stepping into full-time ESI Board Co-Chair roles, in which their responsibilities will include serving as brand ambassadors, developing and honing the skills of ESI management, and participating in the development of high-level strategic plans. The transition is being implemented with the following promotions and corresponding changes in management roles:


2020 RACP Round: We Can Help With Your Application
The latest Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) funding round will open mid-July and ESI can help you submit your application. We have worked with nonprofits, private developers, corporations, municipalities, and public-private partnerships on first-time and re-submissions for RACP funding. Financial Projections in the Age of COVID: Bucks County Consortium
ESI was retained by the Bucks County Consortium, a forum for intergovernmental cooperation and communication among many of the 52 incorporated municipalities in the County, to provide a county-wide analysis of actual and projected changes in major revenue sources impacting Consortium members through the end of 2021. Natalie Nixon published her new book, The Creativity Leap: Unleash Curiosity, Improvisation and Intuition at Work published by Berrett-Koehler and is available in paperback, digital and audio. She also became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Art.
We welcome back Suzanne Biemiller to the Senior Advisor board, who returns following serving on the Bloomberg 2020 campaign.
Gina Lavery has been elected President of the Philadelphia Chapter of Lambda Alpha International.
Rebecca DeJoseph and Gina Lavery will be presenting ESI's report on the film industry in Montana to the state’s Revenue Department on July 21.
Richard Bickel is working with his TRB Committee and prepared a problem statement on impacts and responses by public transit agencies to the COVID-19 virus. The problem statement will be submitted to the TCRP program to be considered for the next round of studies later this year.

Henry Cruz had an article, " Medical Tourism in the Time of COVID-19" published in the Global Political Trends Center in Istanbul, Turkey.
Bernie Markstein was the presenter for separate webinars on the impact of COVID-19 on various aspects of the construction industry for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
Stephen Mullin will speak at the Bond Club of Philadelphia's event on "Short and Long-Term Impacts of the Pandemic on Philadelphia's Economy." He was also quoted in the Philadelphia Business Journal's article, "Will more companies move to double dip on tax breaks after Dechert’s big legal win?"
Blane Stoddart was a panelist at BISNOW's event "Mentorship & Diversity in the CRE Industry" on July 9 to discuss current events and how they are affecting the business climate in CRE.

The City of Philadelphia announced details regarding its partnership with North Broad Renaissance to support local businesses as they begin to gradually reopen in the Green Phase. The City and Visit Philadelphia also announced a new online resource encouraging consumers to support local businesses on commercial corridors as they begin to reopen safely, with care.
