Taking the Right Precautions
|
|
Tens of thousands of children have been in the care of the YMCA and New York City's Department of Education since March, and both tell NPR they have no reports of coronavirus clusters or outbreaks. Beating the odds has been correlated to the preventative measures they had set in place with the CDC, including daily temperature checks and symptom screenings, masked staff members, and limited group sizes. Since reopening on June 29, we have incorporated all of these protective measures to create both a safe and fun learning environment.
