Hello friends,
We are all looking for different ways to try and sell our art work. We have to be creative and find new ways to market and express our artwork.
GALA has been working on trying different ways too. We have just launched our FIRST Virtual Gallery Tour! I hope you will enjoy it. You will find a link to it on our website in the top menu bar; just look for "Virtual Tour" at
www.galagardner.org. We will be updating it on a monthly basis. Spread the word to your friends and galleries, and ask other websites to create a link to help promote our Gallery Tour. After you watch the video, please send us feedback on how you like it.
We have also started an online Silent Auction on our Facebook page. Check bi-weekly to bid on art items that you want. Currently, our second auction is up and running so check it out. If you have artwork for the Virtual Tour or the Auction, let me know.
We are now offering art classes for children and adults and we are looking for teachers. Classes will be either private or small groups. If you want more information please give me a call.
So, let's all hope for the best and maybe we can open our gallery in September or October, and combine our "Theme" paintings and "Small Works" together till we close for Christmas. That is our plan.
There is some work that needs to be done at the gallery. We bought paint to touch up the floor and the walls of the gallery. And a few spots on the outside need to be scraped and repainted. So, if you want to just hang out at the gallery just give me a holler.
Keep Safe and Keep Creating Art!

About this exhibition
Investigate notions of physical forces through Gravity/Levity, a juried exhibition of three-dimensional artwork, and the first all-sculpture show at ArtsWorcester. Lisa Crossman, Curator of American Art and Arts of the Americas at the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College, selected twenty-nine sculptures by twenty-five artists that capture approaches to weight and weightlessness.

Changes to our hours and policies

Hand-sanitizing, mask-wearing, and facility protocols meet or exceed the requirements of the Commonwealth.

49th Annual MWCC Student Art Exhibition
Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner, MA
|
Student work from foundation and advanced art courses
View the online exhibition
Each spring MWCC hosts an Exhibition of Student Art Work from the foundation and advanced art courses.
The art faculty are so proud of all of the student work in this exhibit and the students' success with remote distance learning; overcoming many challenges and obstacles this semester. Students also photographed their work, with whatever resources available, to make this exhibit possible. Due to the pandemic, the clay work was unable to be fired or glazed, but it is still included in the exhibit. Many of the students' paintings and drawings that are still hanging in the upper gallery at the college, would have also been included in this exhibit.
