J oin us for the 23rd annual Jurassic Classic Chamber Golf Tournament. 18 holes of golf at the amazing Dinosaur Trail Golf & Country Club on Friday, August 17. Tournament Theme: LUAU ON THE LINKS

·     8:30-10:00am- Check in and breakfast
·     10:00am- Shotgun start

All of our sponsorship opportunities are filled EXCLUDING Hole Sponsors- and only 50% of those remain so act fast if you want to sponsor this great event! We are also seeking door prizes and silent auction items.

Registration includes 18 holes of golf, breakfast lunch and dinner, registration gift, prizes, games, and a chance to mix and mingle with great company!

Growing Kneehill- Country Market & Long Table Dinner 2018

On August 18 the Kneehill County Agriculture Service Board will be hosting a Country Market & Long Table Dinner event at Horseshoe Canyon which receives nearly 2,000 visitors on the day. This event will tie into Alberta Open Farm Days and the new Alberta Local Food Week.
Starting with the Country Market running from 2-6pm, businesses such as yourself are invited to showcase and promote locally made and grown products, services and tourism products. You'll get to network and connect with other current and upcoming local food producers, retail marketers, tourism operators and potential market clientele.

Capping the event will be the long table dinner, prepared by top chefs collaborating with and utilizing products from vendors of the Country Market and other local ingredients. View the vendor registration form here; purchase tickets to the Long Table Dinner here .
Funding is available to improve accessibility and safety in your workplace  

Your business or organization could receive a grant of up to $100,000 through the Government of Canada’s Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF) program to improve accessibility and safety in your workplace for current or future employees with disabilities. Let's Talk Horseshoe Canyon 
Kneehill County is in the process of preparing a Master Plan for Horseshoe Canyon. The master plan will provide the long-term management and development direction for the site. The plan will work to improve the visitor experience available on site while ensuring that the site’s unique ecological and historic resources are protected for generations to come.
Please participate in the online survey and online mapping to provide your ideas on the future of Horseshoe Canyon. Survey closes July 24, 2018.
Little Church Update
Sometime between the afternoon of June 18 and the afternoon of June 20, a window was smashed at the Little Church. As of June 27 the window has been replaced. The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce owns and manages the Little Church; if you notice any issues or concerns with it at any time please report them to the Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce at 403-823-8100 or stop in at the World's Largest Dinosaur.

Salute a Vet
The Drumheller Legion and Drumheller Genealogy Club are selling banners in Remembrance of Vets, which will be placed on light standards downtown Oct. 1 til just after Remembrance Day. If you wish to purchase a banner in remembrance, applications and further details can be found by contacting the Drumheller Legion at 823-5611 or stop by 295 Centre Street.
The banners will be stored by the Drumheller Legion, and will be installed and taken down each year by Town of Drumheller employees.
Stars of Alberta Volunteer Awards
The Stars of Alberta Volunteer Awards recognize extraordinary Albertans whose volunteer efforts have contributed to the well-being of their community and fellow community members.
