Update from Carly!
More good COVID-19 news! 
We are continuing to closely monitor the Covid-19 statistics in the greater Houston area. Even with the news that fully vaccinated people no longer need masks, and lots of people are not wearing masks, it appears we continue to maintain community control. The vaccines are working! 
Join us for an active afternoon at Stay & Play, and check out our indoor playground during these rainy and hot days! All children 6 yrs old and younger are welcome to come with an adult and play on Fridays between 3-6 pm. Lots of play space, large trampolines, a preschool rock wall, gymnastics beams and bars, tumble track, trapeze, and a large gymnastics floor with tons of fun mats and activities for only $15 per visit (plus tax).

Alessia & Catalina
 Alessia and Catalina are competing at the Stars & Stripes Championships for Trampoline & Tumbling on July 8-10, 2021 - Salt Lake City, Utah.

We are so excited for these two to compete and for Discover's first time being represented in a national competition for T&T!
STILL RUNNING IN JULY


Discover Gymnastics will continue the Drop-Off & Pick-Up drive for the month of July. We want to encourage you to continue using this setup as a convenience for you and an effort to keep crowds smaller.
We have removed spectator restrictions in the building, but we want to encourage you to allow your student the independence to come into class on their own most days.

IF YOU WISH TO COME INTO THE FACILITY TO WATCH YOUR CHILD'S CLASS, PLEASE PARK IN THE BACK OF THE BUILDING AND USE THE BACK GLASS ENTRANCE.

 For the safety of the children, spaces on the ramp by the back door will remain unavailable for parking until we conclude Drop-Off/Pick-Up entirely. 
Meet Some of Our Staff
Amanda M.
Team Communications Manager
Amanda graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Kinesiology/Sports Administration and minored in dance. She was a competitive gymnast for 14 years and studied ballet, tap and jazz for 18 years. With over twenty years of coaching experience, Amanda enjoyed eleven of those years as a Head Coach and Team Director at a local gym. One of her most proud achievements is helping produce successful college level gymnasts. As a choreographer, she has staged dance for senior school musicals as well as choreographed Shannon Miller's floor routine for "Floor Wars TV Special" in 2001. Amanda also has over 20 years of experience as a Meet Director and coordinates several invitational competitions in the Houston area. Amanda joined Discover Gymnastics in 2017 to assist with the communication and administrative side of our team programs. Over the past year, she has enjoyed stepping in and helping coach our optional level gymnasts. In her spare time, she loves taking trips with her family to Las Vegas, Costa Rica or anywhere with a beach.
