As our nation moves toward its 250th birthday on July 4th, the Town of Bermuda Run joins communities across the country in recognizing this historic milestone. It’s a time to celebrate how far we’ve come, reflect on our shared history, and appreciate the freedoms that unite us!

Celebrate at a Spectacular 250th Party

Date: Sunday, July 26

Time: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Location: Town Green

The Town of Bermuda Run invites your family to a spectacular 250th Birthday Party for America! Bring your lawn chairs and get ready to dance to the energetic, crowd-pleasing sounds of the Alex Ottaway Band while enjoying free hot dogs, hamburgers, patriotic slushies, and other treats and surprises.

Mayor Pro Tem Rod Guthrie

At the June Town Council meeting, Rod Guthrie was appointed as Mayor Pro Tem. Rod brings extensive experience to this role, including service on the Town Council and six years on the Planning Board, where he also served as Chairman. Thank you for your service, Rod.

Golf Cart Safety Reminder

One of the many unique benefits of living in the Town of Bermuda Run is enjoying our community as golf cart-friendly. As a reminder, North Carolina law and Town regulations require that anyone operating a golf cart on Town streets must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver's license.

These rules are in place to protect the safety of all residents, pedestrians, motorists, and golf cart operators. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping keep our streets safe and enjoyable for all. Please talk with your family members about safe and lawful golf cart operation.

Christmas Is Back in the Town of Bermuda Run

The Town of Bermuda Run is delighted to announce the return of Christmas in the Town of Bermuda Run on Sunday, December 6, from 3–5 PM. After becoming an instant small-town tradition following its inaugural celebration in 2021, this beloved community event is officially back. The Christmas in Bermuda Run Committee is busy planning an afternoon filled with holiday cheer, hometown spirit, and festive fun for all ages. More details will be announced soon. For now, mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate!

Patriotic Paws Walk a Spectacular Success
