EL POMAR'S RESPONSE TO COVID-19
On March 9, El Pomar’s Board of Trustees established the Colorado Assistance Fund, committing $1 million toward immediate aid for nonprofit organizations and government entities meeting basic human needs and supporting access to appropriate healthcare for individuals and communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. With this initial $1 million now disbursed, the Trustees have approved an additional $1.1 million to support longer-range recovery efforts to encourage the eventual return of healthy, functioning communities across Colorado. Each of El Pomar’s 11 regional councils will recommend a strategy for the allocation of $100,000 in their multi-county region of Colorado. To see the complete list of organizations supported by the initial $1 million fund, see the document below.
