Featuring
Ed Cobleight, LTC, Rtd
USN Top Gun Pilot
Wednesday, July 6th, 2022
No Host Bar: 5:30 p.m., Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
The Peregrine falcons of Morro Rock are the fastest animals who have ever lived on planet Earth. These apex predators' aerial maneuvers mirror those of human aviators. Or is it vice-versa? Veteran fighter pilot Ed Cobleigh will break down Peregrine tactics and analyze their strategies from the viewpoint of a veteran fighter weapons instructor. Find out how many Gs a falcon can pull.
Lt Col Ed "Fast Eddie" Cobleigh has been a fighter pilot with the USAF, US Navy (TOPGUN), Royal Air Force, Iranian Air Force, and the French Air Force. His aviation/adventure books are bestsellers.
Dinner is catered and open to the public ($25/person), reservations are required prior to 6 p.m., Monday prior to dinner, either On-line HERE or call 805 296-1935.

All scales are welcome! This is a great way to get kids into the hobby as well as the model collector out there looking for something esoteric or not offered in the stores anymore. Dedicated To A Life Mission
|
Back in 2009, many of us were inspired by the mission undertaken by one of our monthly dinner guest speakers, Diane Prizada. In short, it was through a series of related events that a secondhand WWII nurse's uniform changed a Lockwood homemaker's world and set her on a lifetime journey.
Recently, this editor unexpectedly came across a pod cast concerning her journey. Her heart felt story has affected hundreds over the years and is a passion that deserves to be told. Click on her picture above for more information and check out another video on YouTube, here.

New At The Woodland Auto Display
|
|
The Woodland Auto Display is not just about historic race cars, but the collection includes numerous vintage, classic, custom vehicles, memorabilia, motorcycles and a few pedal pushers... Did I say "pedal pushers"? Why, yes I did!
With all the chatter these days about carbo n-neutral vehicles, here's a classic, human powered, 1975-1985 C-Cab1 Bicycle Truck! Nevin Musgrave was an art student in college. He was also a cyclist plus he had a truck. With that background,it made perfectly good sense to him to create his custom C-Cab Bicycle Truck.
