15th Annual Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit Highlights

Dear Colleagues,

Last month's 15th Annual Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit was an incredible success thanks to your support and enthusiasm. The event, held on June 20-21  at the Claremont Hotel & Spa in Berkeley, California was sold out this year! The full program is available here  and a list of our sponsors can be found here.

Each year, the Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit holds a Business Plan Competition. The winner of the $10,000 prize was Wavelet, a company that has created a stroke monitor for high-risk atrial fibrillation patients to reduce time to treatment after a ischemic stroke.

This year, the AARP Innovation Lab held a pitch competition at the Summit which brought to the stage  companies who are focused on providing piece of mind to family caregivers through the use of VR, AI, and other disruptive technologies. The winner was chosen by audience members through polling. The winning teams were Embodied Labs and OhmniLabs and they will go on to the final AARP Innovation Lab Pitch Event in Washington, DC  in the fall of  2018.
