A Few Words from Our MASWA President
Meaningful Thoughts

Each day, we look for signs of hope, inspiration, good attitude and something to make us smile. The other day I ran across something that brought all the above to me and I wanted to share it with you. Unfortunately, the author is unknown because whomever it is, they deserve some credit. Perhaps you’ve run across this too. It is six little stories with lots of meaning. Here they are:

“Six Little Stories"

Once all the villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of the prayer, all the people gathered, but only one boy came with an umbrella.  That is faith.

When you throw babies in the air, they laugh because they know you will catch them. That is trust.

Every night as we go to bed without any assurance of being alive the next morning, we still set the alarm to wake us up.  That is hope.

We plan big things for tomorrow in spite of zero knowledge of the future.  That is confidence.

We see the world suffering, but still, we get married and have children.  That is love.

On an elderly man’s shirt was written, “I am not 80 years old; I am sweet 16 with 64 years of experience.” That is attitude.

Living a good life is all about how we look at things around us. It is all about our perspective. As we continue to serve those who may not be able to serve themselves, may we keep the faith, trust in others, have boundless hope to see us through, be confident in ourselves, remember to love and do it all with an amazing attitude!

Make it a great day and I hope this helped you smile! See you on the 23 rd !
