Although severe weather on June 1 led to the cancellation of Hope in Motion on National Cancer Survivors Day, the event has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 13. Registration is open for the new Hope in Motion date. Click here for more information.

ChaskaMinnesota Oncology Chaska Clinic - Opening August 2014

 

Minnesota Oncology will open its 11th clinic location - in Chaska - on August 4, 2014. The Chaska Clinic will be located in the Lakeview Professional Building at the southwest corner of Hwy 41 and Pioneer Trail overlooking Lake Grace in Chaska.

GadaNew Physician Joins Minnesota Oncology
Dr. Purvi Gada
   
Purvi Gada, M.B.B.S., began practicing with Minnesota Oncology in June 2014. Dr. Gada will treat patients at our Edina Clinic until the Chaska location opens in August 2014. She comes to Minnesota Oncology from University of Minnesota Physicians Cancer Care at Fairview- Maple Grove where she has practiced since 2010.

 

Dr. Gada's areas of interest include benign hematological disorders, hematologic malignancies, solid organ cancers, and breast cancer. Read more...

Minnesota Oncology Fridley Clinic nurse Michele Myslicki was recently selected by Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine as a 2014 Outstanding Nurse Award Finalist. Myslicki was one of 62 finalists who represent the top 20 percent of nominations received from the Twin Cities public.

AngelSummer Events for Families Facing Cancer

 

Some great free events are coming up for families facing cancer. Angel Foundation offers activities to adults with cancer and their school-age children.
