Despite the ongoing pandemic, NOAS celebrated two legalizations this month, social distancing style!

11-year-old Dylan spent over 6 years in foster care and on June 24th, he officially legalized with his loving family! We couldn't be happier for him.

Also on June 24th, 10-year-old Logan joined his Forever Family surrounded by his supportive staff, loved ones, and former foster mom!

PAST EVENTS

IGNITE MENTORING

On June 15th, the IGNITE Team hosted a virtual trivia night for current mentors and mentees! Many of the kiddos have not had anything "fun" in a while due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was wonderful to see them get so involved!

Program Specialist Abi reflected on her favorite moment, "While reviewing answers for the "Pop Culture" Round, a mentee shouted out the answer to a question. His mentor high fived him in excitement and said, "You really saved us this round! You are a superstar. I would have done awful without your help!" To which the mentee replied, "I couldn't do this without you either! We are a great team". It was a very heartwarming experience!"

MEET ADRIANNA

Adrianna is a sweet, quiet, soft-spoken young lady. She enjoys going to church and school and participating in youth activities. She loves to swim and be outside. She also has a love for animals. She enjoys drawing, doing crafts, and playing video games.

HEAVY HEARTS

It is with a heavy heart that we share a beloved NOAS parent passed away suddenly last week. Erica was a wonderful mother, wife and friend and will surely be missed.

Please help her loved ones raise funds to cover the cost of her afterlife services. Any support helps, no amount is too small.
