Make it busier
Some days it seems I can't get anything on my to-do list done. Some weeks have meetings every day. I've found that if I try to make busy days busier, I can have some other days dedicated to study or other duties that need my attention. Family and relationships always have priority.

It seems to work.

Happy 4th of July weekend!

American's Pray
Out of 102 countries examined for frequency of prayer by Pew Research Center, the U.S. is unique in that it has both a high level of wealth ($56,000 per-capita gross domestic product in ’15) and a high level of daily prayer among its population (55% according to the ’14 U.S. Religious Landscape Study).

Liberty and the USA
On July 2, 1776, Congress voted to approve a complete separation from England. Two days later, the early draft of the Declaration of Independence was signed. Four days later, members of Congress took the document and read it out loud from the steps of Independence Hall, proclaiming it to the city of Philadelphia, and afterwards they rang the Liberty Bell. The inscription on the top of the bell is Leviticus 25:10, which reads, "Proclaim liberty throughout the land and to all the inhabitants thereof." John Adams said, "The general principles on which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity."
Plan now for a great weekend away for your youth, women's and men's groups. Whether in the beautiful mountains of Big Bear Lake or the relaxing hot springs in Murrieta, we believe God will meet you there and encourage you in your walk with Him. Click now to find out more.
Helpful Book
Recently, one of our former Pastors and CB Chaplains, Richard Phillips, published a book filled with interesting stories from his experiences as a hospital chaplain. Written in a very relaxed and easy-to-read style, this is much more than the mere record of interactions with people in various states of need and hurt. It is an absolute goldmine of relevant biblical resources and a valuable reference work for anyone with a ministry to the sick, fragile, or who are hurting in life.
Good Idea for 9/11
Our PCN church in Fallbrook, LifePointe Church, is preparing to honor first responders on Sunday, September 8. They will invite many firefighters and law enforcement officers to their church in order to recognize them. They want to be a church that is trying to build bridges into their community.
