  Grant Helps Provide
Compassionate End-of-Life Care

The decision to euthanize a pet is a hard one for any
pet parent to make. And it's especially heart-wrenching for some of our clients whose pets have
been their sole source of comfort and support for many years.

Pets In Need provides humane euthanasia at the discretion of our veterinarians.  Our staff does an outstanding job making both the pet and clients as comfortable as possible throughout the process.  And volunteers provide the extras - kind words, kleenex and hugs. But what happens next?

Thanks to a grant from a long-time volunteer and supporter, PIN clients now have the option of cremation with the return of their pet's ashes. For a $15 co-pay, clients receive a voucher which is redeemable at Char Mac.  The grant is used to pay the balance of the cremation fee.

We're so grateful to be able to offer this extra service to our clients who wouldn't otherwise be able to
afford it.
In 2017,  the clinic provided humane euthanasia for 91 well-loved pets.
