SSKP Weekend at Lenny & Joe's Carousel

Join us on Saturday, July 6th and Sunday July 7th Lenny & Joe's Fish Tale Restaurant in Madison for a very special Carousel Weekend Food Drive for SSKP. Lenny & Joe's will donate the proceeds from their Magical Charity Carousel to SSKP, and everyone who donates a non-perishable food item will receive a coupon for a free ice cream cone as a special thank-you.

Celebrate summer with a carousel ride and delicious ice cream, while helping your neighbors!

Many thanks to everyone who voted for SSKP in this year's Essex Savings Bank Community Investment Program. With your votes, we ranked first in their balloting and were very grateful to receive $9,766.

Dominion Foundation Gives to SSKP

SSKP recently received a generous $2,000 grant from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation in support of our five food pantries. These funds will purchase groceries such as fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, and eggs for households in the 11 towns we serve who are experiencing food insecurity.

"Every day, nonprofit organizations make an outsized impact on our communities," said Hunter A. Applewhite, President of the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation. "We are proud to support them with grants that will strengthen their efforts."

For over a decade the Dominion Foundation has supported SSKP with funding to accomplish our mission to provide food and fellowship. Thank you, Dominion!
