At WE CAN, our mission to empower women remains at the center of all we do. Whether you're a year-round resident or just here for the season, our doors are open to all women seeking support, guidance, or a safe space to grow. Celebrating Marina!
On Her Promotion to Senior Program Manager
We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Marina Mendoza-Burris to Senior Program Manager at WE CAN! Marina joined WE CAN in 2017, bringing with her a deep commitment to community and a professional background rooted in service. Originally from Sonora, Mexico, Marina earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Sonora and worked as a social worker in Hermosillo before moving to the United States. Read more HERE!

- No auditions – just heart and harmony
- A safe, joyful space for self-expression and connection
Led by WE CAN volunteer and Common Choir leader Jane Lowey, this group is open to anyone in the WE CAN community! The group will meet 4-6 times per year.

| | PathMaker Information Sessions 2025 | | The PathMakers Program is a facilitator-led peer mentoring program that empowers women through self-advocacy and personal growth. Using a strengths-based approach, participants gain confidence, support, and connection in a safe space. Each PathMaker selects a Mentoring partner to work toward a personal goal, meeting individually and in monthly group sessions in Hyannis, hosted by WE CAN. Discussions cover topics like self-compassion, personal srengths, and vision-setting. | |

Circle of Support
STARTING THIS FALL!
6 Thursdays starting October 2nd - November 6th
6:00 - 7:30pm | Location: Harwich
Facilitator: Ruth Anderson-Zabre
Circle of Support is a 6 week group facilitated by a trained mental health professional. Groups meet for 1.5 hours each week. Group is designed for women who are in the process of divorcing.

Power Within Her Group
STARTING THIS FALL!
8 Tuesdays starting September 23rd - November 11th

Power Within Her is an 8 week program of self-discovery. It is a structured, group-driven experience that offers guidance, support, encouragement, and accountability. Power Within Her is designed to create a safe, supportive and interactive platform where each participant feels a sense of belonging and can be heard and seen without judgement. In this workshop you will move from the question of, “Who am I” to the clear and powerful statement of, this is “Who I am”. It is a plan for discovery and growth and it is all about you.
