A custom home in Sarasota built the way it should be: with roofing planned in from the start.
The low-slope sections use a TPO system over tapered polyiso insulation with a DensDeck cover board, engineered for positive drainage and impact resistance. The 3/12 sections carry 1.75" standing seam metal panels in Dome Gray with concealed clips, built to move with heat and hold against Florida wind.
Different systems, different install requirements and the real test was getting the transition points between them right, since that's where problems tend to surface years down the line if it's rushed or disconnected from the rest of the build.
What made this one work: early coordination with the builder, well before the roof was finalized on paper. Drainage, wind-load compliance, and material transitions were resolved as part of the design conversation, not discovered after framing was already up.
The result is a roofline that reads clean and modern from the street, backed by the kind of planning that doesn't show up in a photo but shows up over time.
Proud of how this one came together.
