Safety Tip: How to Help Emergency Responders Identify Your Home

If you are able to, please consider adding your street number towards alley-facing traffic. In the event of an emergency, responders may have to approach your home from the alley. By adding your street number to a garage or alley door or other locations, emergency responders will be able to more readily pinpoint your home.

Howler at Bauler – October 28 at Bauler Park

Howler at Bauler includes a bouncy house, costume parade, games, candy, a DJ to dance to and more to local neighborhood children and families.

Discounted Tickets Available for No Man's Land

The Steppenwolf Theatre is giving LCA members a special offer for tickets on their new show, No Man's Land. Neighbors can get 20% off tickets for preview performances, which run July 13-August 6 and is redeemable online with code: Neighbor at

More about No Man's Land:

In the drawing room of his stately Hampstead mansion, the wealthy, aging Hirst hosts his newfound acquaintance, the enigmatic Spooner, for an evening of endless beer, scotch and vodka. The night winds on, the drinks keep pouring and the ground keeps shifting—until two sinister younger men arrive and interrupt the bacchanal. Steppenwolf returns to Harold Pinter’s modern masterpiece: a generational power struggle, a tug of war between expert wordsmiths, a maze of murky meaning. Or perhaps it's just two old English sots waxing nostalgic and waiting for the sun to rise. In No Man’s Land, you can never be certain, and nothing is as it seems.
