BOOM on the Lagoon

Sunday, July 4th 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Pack up the family - grab your friends - and head to Riverside Park for a truly memorable 4th of July. Don't forget lawn chairs, blankets & bug spray.

Fireworks by Zambelli Fireworks, famous for spectacular pyrotechnics & special effects, will begin at 9pm with synchronized music programming.

Starting at 5pm, "Johnny and the Blaze" takes the main stage with music from country to rock. Food trucks, contests, trivia games, children's activities and more.

Sebastian Freedom Festival, Parade & Fireworks

Saturday, July 3rd 8:30 AM - 10:00 PM

A day of festivities in celebration of Independence Day!

8:30 am - Parade

Parade route from Sebastian Community Center & Jackson Street proceeding east on Davis Street and south along Indian River Drive to Riverview Park.

10:00 am to 8:00 pm - Freedom Festival at Riverview Park

Entertainment, food, craft booths & vendors

9:00 pm - Fireworks Over the Lagoon

Young Entrepreneurs Market at the ELC

Saturday, July 3rd 10: AM - 2:00 PM

Support local young entrepreneurs at this fun monthly market!

These kids never fail to impress with their creativity and business skills.

They donate 10% back to the Environmental Learning Center.

CRACKER TRAILS: DAY TRIP IDEAS

Micanopy, FL

Micanopy is Florida's self-proclaimed antiques capital. Settled in 1821, and named in honor of a Seminole Indian chief. It is about 15 minutes south of Gainesville, and features a number of antiques shops, and an annual Fall Harvest Festival. Think music and crafts. The scene is heavy on greenery, making Micanopy a pleasant spot to wile away an afternoon beneath the oaks. In addition, the nearby Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park allows you to spot bison and wild horses from a 50-foot-high observation tower.

Seedlip Non-Alcoholic Spirit

Ben Branson was inspired to purchase a small copper still and experiment with distilling herbs grown in his garden at home.

After a few months’ time, while dining at an upscale London restaurant, Ben ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail. To his dismay, he was served a pink, sugary drink that neither paired with the meal, nor the atmosphere.

And so began two meticulous years of perfecting the world’s first non-alcoholic spirit–combining Ben’s farming heritage, love of nature & design, and fulfilling the need for a sophisticated non-alcoholic option.
