The end of the season is right around the corner and it’s been a thrilling season for sure, done in fine fashion thanks to the outstanding support from all concerned.

We have just a few events left which include the North Florida Junior Amateur, Timuquana Country Club and then Finally the TOUR Championship at Marsh Landing Country Club and Glen Kernan Country ClubWe hope you decide to make these events the most attended ever.

Then it’s on to the Awards Banquet at TPC Sawgrass (see info below) and then we’ll rebuild everything to start the NEW SEASON on September 1 with our first event in mid to late October. Register your new membership before October 1 and you’ll SAVE $25.

We still have some great RACES going on in the Summer Tournament Series, Web.com Junior Players Tour “Top Honor” Award and for the PLAYER OF THE YEAR’s. Some divisions will go down to the final event and maybe the last hole to determine the winners. If you’re in the race, good luck!
Another award we will need to decide on is the “ Jack Nicklaus Award”. This award is voted on by the players. First round players will submit nominations and then the second round players will vote for those nominated and it’s all done by the players. We will send out a nomination requests via email and we will have this form available at our events should the player choose to nominate in writing. Please read the attached letter as it will explain it all. JACK NICKLAUS AWARD

As we come to an end, we can see what an impact our tour has made on so many of our players getting them ready for higher level golf. The NFJG TOUR Players are lighting up the local papers with great accomplishments in state and national championships. We’re very proud that we have put together such great opportunities for our junior players. The FJT exemptions and fully paid exemptions into so many great event like the “First Coast Amateur”, “Azalea”, The First Coast Women’s Amateur, The PGA Junior Championships and others. What makes it even more special is when all of our local players continue to play in events locally. Doing so, creates more opportunity for future golf.

Great job to all who played in the Florida Junior Amateur Championship at Streamsong.

Two Majors and Timuquana Country Club left

The season end didn't take long to get here and here we are with just two major Web.com Junior Players Tour and one Tournament Series event remaining to register for. FUTURE TRIPS
Pinehurst or Pebble?
Tell me if you are interested in going to Pinehurst or Pebble Beach and we'll start the wheels in motion.

The recent trip to Whistling Straits was a huge success and we can't wait to do it again. The cost per junior was right at $2000. The cost for accompanying adults (no golf) was $700 this included airfare, lodging, food, five rounds of golf and SUV rental. I was blessed to have family and friends in the area, so would all trips be this inexpensive, probably not, but pay it forward and let me pay all the bills will most likely end up cheaper in the long run for those on the trip. Raising funds prior to the trip will always help the pocket book in the end, just like this trip.
