Dear Valued Patrons,

Summer at the Autauga-Prattville Public Library (APPL) is in full swing, and we couldn't be more thrilled! Our summer reading program kickoff party on June 7th was absolutely incredible - we welcomed over 600 visitors through our doors and were reminded once again why we love serving this vibrant community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our silent auction.Your generous support raised $1,148 toward our new building fund! While this is a fantastic start to our fundraising efforts, we still have an exciting journey ahead. Mark your calendars for our next fundraiser in September - let's just say we're getting "beary" excited about what we have planned.

There's still plenty of time to join in on the summer reading program fun! Throughout July, we have an incredible lineup of events designed to engage children and adults of all ages. Whether you're interested in treasure hunting, cooking, Legos, or quilting, we're confident you'll find something that sparks your curiosity. We hope you'll join us!

As always, it remains our privilege and joy to serve the residents of Autauga County.

Warm regards,

Tammy Bear

Alycone Mullins

We're pleased to spotlight Alcyone Mullins, who serves as Treasurer of the Friends of the Library. Alcyone plays a vital role in helping our Friends group support essential library services, programs, and materials that benefit our entire community. Thanks to the dedication of volunteers like Alcyone and the generous support of Friends members, the group was able to help the library subscribe to Camellia Net Digital Library last year.
