Career goal – “I plan to commission into the Army as an Aviation Officer in May 2024. I have little preference in which aircraft I fly, as long as I am flying. My dream aircraft would be CH-47. After flight school, I want to pursue a career in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. I hope to spend the majority of my career with this regiment ensuring the men/women of our armed forces get home safely. After the Army, I would like to continue to fly in the civilian world. Flying for WildLand firefighters, medevac LifeFlight, or search and rescue would be civilian jobs that I would be interested in.”

With the unwavering support of Daedalians from all around the world, the Daedalian Flying Training (DFT) scholarship program has continued to encourage students to seek a career in military aviation.

CAP and the Daedalians have partnered to increase the number of students who will learn to fly. Daedalians HQ will support flights that want to participate. Flight may support Civil Air Patrol by working with their local CAP office.

For information on where they are located, you can contact Daedalian HQ.

Flights can receive reimbursement at 50% of three student costs, 65% for two students, and 75% for one student as long as the student has provided proof of the financial need to CAP.

Flights must submit an invoice from CAP and should share any information provided on the success of the student. Flights should also share with social media and any published release however these two items will not prohibit reimbursement.
