Meet July featured artist: Nicole Bourgeois Williams.

Recycled Robots, Art Dolls and Whimsical Characters

Baldwinville, MA

Even as a small child, Nicole Bourgeois Williams has always looked at things differently than most. Who knew her spin on old, discarded items could become such a special addition to someone else's life! Her journey down the rabbit hole into the art world began as a consignment booth, but as the market changed, her longing for more creative expression took over. Blending her love for vintage and passion for recycling, Nikki’s Rabbit Hole was born.

“It’s Art That Makes You Smile!”

Always thinking outside the box, Nikki first started building with vintage tins and glass. More recently she has expanded into found objects, recycled materials and small engine parts; her pockets are never empty. There is always something that needs to be explored in a different light. Creating adventurous robots, art dolls, and whimsical creatures, Nikki loves seeing people smile at her art and how it sparks memories of their own childhood.

Nikki is the newest member of the WCA MA. She is also a member of the Gardner Area League of Artists (GALA).

Jump through the rabbit hole and follow Nikki down this winding road of child-like whimsy!

WCA Portrait Virtual Exhibtion

Looking Out: A Connected Perspective

Looking Out: A Connected Perspective is a hybrid exhibition presented by the Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA). This pop-up exhibition features work from 54 members who generously shared their art with us to support a special history project, launching in early 2026. We received over 100 captivating portraits in a variety of media, showcasing the breadth and depth of talent within our community. Looking Out is our way of saying thank you to our members who look out for one another, share generously, and make the WCA such a wonderful, diverse group. All work can be viewed virtually via Kunstmatrix throughout July 2025. Please note that some images are presented at an altered scale for optimal viewing in the online environment.

Additionally, postcards featuring the work are on display in a non-traditional venue during our Summer Board Meeting at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) from July 17 – 20, 2025.
