July Highlight: Fraim Club Kids Fish the Brandywine

Thanks to the help of our friends at the Brandywine River Restoration Trust, our Clarence Fraim Club kids had the opportunity to fish in the Brandywine for a Summer Fun Club activity! Club members learned about the fish found in the river and how to catch them. After making fish shirts and learning how to cast a line, our kids were able to practice their new skills and catch some fish. At the end of the program, each Club member was gifted a brand new fishing rod!

Program Feature: Club Teens Tour University of Delaware

This summer our teen programs are touring local colleges and universities to teach students about the college application process. Recently, teens from our Greater Newark and Claymont Clubs traveled to the University of Delaware where they had the opportunity to tour classrooms, check out the athletic facilities and learn about the admissions process. You can read all about their experience and where they're headed next in our latest blog post here.

Club Activity: Rehoboth Club Kids Craft with the Elderly

The youth at our Rehoboth Beach Club recently visited Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation to craft and connect with residents. During their time, members made matching bracelets and necklaces with their partners. Our Rehoboth Club looks forward to returning soon, and making this a part of their regular Summer Fun Club activities!
