June has been an incredibly busy month at Homes for the Brave as we concluded our fiscal year in strong fashion. We admire the determination of our male and female residents and appreciate the commitment of our staff, Board of Directors and of our remarkable supporters. The month began with the presentation by our good friends at the Fairfield Rotary Club of record proceeds of canned goods and monetary donations from the Fairfield Memorial Day Parade, and this was followed by Jay Duncan's "Light Up the Night" Cigar Night Fundraiser and the Shelton Exchange Club's Community Support Dinner. On June 8, a huge crowd jammed into North Haven's Fantasia for the Chaz and AJ Veterans Gala, and the entire WPLR Team rallied to support Homes for the Brave. The month ended with a wonderful visit and check presentation by TD Bank CT Market President Mike LaBella and his Executive Team. We look forward to the challenges and successes that are sure to come along with the 2019 fiscal year and because of your support, feel ready for them.

AlixPartners, for the funding and hands-on work to get the garden planted. Thanks to
SASO Fairfield who will tend the garden throughout the season, weeding, harvesting and providing recipes to our residents. Thank you,
Home Depot, for your constant support and helping us in selecting vibrant plants and ensuring we had all we need to spruce up the grounds!
