Welcome to Summer 2023 MPI New Jersey! When I said we wanted to “RISE to Elevate” I did not mean the temperature. It certainly has been quite warm as we kick off summer. As the MPI New Jersey incoming president, I think the temperature and my goal meet at a perfect time. This chapter has always had my heart and truly made me want to be a part of something bigger. We are warm, caring, and welcoming to every individual, which is part of what we will continue to do as we "Rise to Elevate,” this is my theme for the 2023-2024 chapter term.

I have had the good fortune of being a part of this chapter’s leadership for many years. I step into large shoes, Corrine Statia-Thomas, our outgoing president, has led the Chapter to amazing accomplishments which include member retention, ACCOLADES from International, and a RISE Award! What I hope to do in the 2023-2024 role is to continue to ELEVATE the chapter with the help of all of our members, volunteers, and sponsors. Our goal is to continue the upward success we have enjoyed for the last few years and RISE to the next level.

My primary focus is on giving back to the membership through fantastic education offerings, volunteer options, and networking opportunities. We need support from each of you to be able to continue to PROPEL the chapter forward. If I can support you in any way I am available to you. I am excited as I enter my second time serving as the president of this AMAZING chapter!

It was a quarter century in the making and the MPI NJ 25^th Annual Golf Event did not disappoint. The weather was beautiful, and our enthusiastic group of 179 industry professionals golfed, sipped, swung, dined, networked, and helped to make the day one to remember for years to come. The outing, hosted at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey, was full of reconnecting with friends and colleagues, food and drink, many pictures, many laughs, and a little golf.

The day’s events included a scramble golf tournament, a Sip, Swing, and Dine (golf clinic/wine tasting) activity, and a closing reception where everyone shared tales of the day, filled up on a delicious buffet, and vied for valuable raffle prizes before heading home. MPI New Jersey congratulates our golf tournament winners!

With the 2023 Golf Event already in our rearview mirror, we are looking forward to our 2024 event. We will share the date soon so keep an eye out because Nobody does golf like MPI New Jersey!
